What time are you open?

Kyre Park & Gardens are open from 10 am - 5pm , everyday.


WHERE CAN I park?

There are two car parks, one located near the entrance to the walking route and the other in front of The Barn. Both are signposted and free to use.


Do i need to book tickets to visit?

No, you don’t need to book.

There is an honesty box at the entrance with a suggested donation of Β£4.50.

This goes toward maintaining the grounds so that Kyre Park can be enjoyed by visitors all year round.


Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome in the park and allowed off leads, if kept under control.

You can tag a photo of your four-legged friend enjoying the gardens on Instagram, using #DogsofKyre.

Please pick up after your dog and use the dog-waste bins provided.


Is the house open to the public?

Please note, the house is closed to the public.

We kindly ask that you be respectful of the owners’ privacy and use the map to follow the public access routes around the gardens.


Are there toilet facilities?

No, there are no toilet facilities at present.


Is Photography and Videotography allowed at Kyre?

Photography and videography for personal use are welcome.

Permission must be granted for the use of drones.

Photographs taken on the estate may not be sold or used for any commercial or promotional purpose.

We love to see your photos and videos!

If photos and videos are taken of Kyre Park and uploaded to social media, we may repost these on our social media accounts.

Are picnics allowed at kyre park?

We are happy for you to bring your own food and drinks to Kyre Park and there are lots of lovely spots around the grounds for you to enjoy your picnic!

Please remember to take all rubbish home with you.


Are barbecues allowed at Kyre Park?

Barbecues are not allowed anywhere on the Kyre Park Estate. 


Am I allowed to swim in, or use canoes/boats on the river?

Swimming and the use of canoes or boats on the lakes at Kyre Park is not permitted.

This is to avoid disruption to the ecosystem of the river and to help ensure the safety of our visitors.
